SUMMARY:ACI Grade 1 Certification
DESCRIPTION:The ACI Concrete Testing Technician – Grade 1 Program\nThis training course offers instruction in the fundamentals of concrete procedures. Emphasis is\nplaced upon practical information and skills which will help quality-control and testing personnel\ndo their jobs more efficiently and accurately to ensure consistent\, good quality concrete and\nreliable test results. ASTM C94 requires anyone testing concrete in the field to be certified\nthrough an ACI equivalent program. The WRMCA program is the only such program offered in\nWisconsin. Previous experience and careful review of the training materials is recommended.\nThe course involves a morning classroom session and instruction in basic concrete materials\nand concrete testing procedures: slump\, air\, yield\, temperature\, measurement\, rolla meter\, and\ncylinder casting. After the lecture\, a written exam is given. The afternoon field test session\nincludes demonstrations and practice in proper concrete testing procedure. \nAn examination will be given and requires each participant to carry out the proper testing\nprocedures for slump\, air content\, yield temperature measurement\, rolla meter\, and cylinder.\nThe exam is closed book.
