The certification will be held at Geo Test in West Allis. \nCertification Level \nA Concrete Strength Testing Technician is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform\, record\, and report the results of four basic ASTM laboratory procedures related to the determination of concrete compressive and flexural strength. \n Scope & Knowledge \nThe program requires a working knowledge of the following ASTM Standards: \nC617-Capping Cylindrical Concrete Specimens \nC1231-Unbonded Caps for Concrete Cylinders \nC39-Compressive Strength of Cylindrical Concrete Specimens \nC78-Flexural Strength of Concrete \nCertification Requirements \nRecertification is required every 5 years\, and requires completion of the written and performance examinations. \n
